You need to start thinking about living financially-smart. If you rely too much on credit for support, you have to draw a line, one that you will not be tempted to cross so easily. You have to put an end to your dependence on credit cards because in the long run, you will find yourself with insurmountable debt.

Be wise. Money must be managed well. Sure, the credit companies will not go away. Years from now, they will still be around, willing to give you credit. They are always there but take the initiative to not associate your issues with them. You do not need to waste a cent to cover for unnecessary services or fees.

It is all about strategically using your wealth. Management is the key. You have to think about your future. Not using a credit card has its perks in more ways than one. You learn how to keep yourself grounded by having limitations on what you buy. By not using a credit card means you use cash for your purchases. You can only purchase the items that you have the cash for at that time and nothing more.

Many argue that since they work hard, they deserve to get whatever they want. But if you have to use credit cards for those desires, then you are living outside of your means and you are purchasing those desires on credit. Finance companies and banks will offer you money but eventually you will have to pay for what has been borrowed. You will not be aware of it but the charges and fees will be taking more money out of your pocket.

At first, you may find it quite painful to not be free to buy whatever you want but overtime, if you be smart with your money through saving and investing then eventually you will be able to pay for what you want with cash. Be patient because in the long run, you will be proud of yourself for having control over what you can do with your money.

Do not be harsh on yourself. If you want something, reward yourself by getting it. Just be sure you have the cash with you to pay for what you buy.

The goal is to achieve financial freedom, free from debt and worrying about paying for bills. It is not suggested that instead of owning credit cards, you load up your wallet with a bundle of cash. Of course, you can use checks and debit cards if there is a certainty that you can back them up.

There is no better time to start having the best interest of your future in mind than now. If you go the extra mile and strive to live a Cash Only Life, you will have the kind of life you deserve- one that is free from debt and one that you have smartly put into action.
